Despite WWDC’s intended audience being developers, we are often treated to sneak peeks at some of Apple’s most exciting new projects during the event.
In its most recent announcement, Apple has set the dates of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) for June 10–14, 2018. On Monday, June 10, there will be a special event at Apple Park, and developers can watch the full conference online through Apple’s program.

During WWDC, Apple supposedly communicates with its many developers about new software and hardware, such as iOS, macOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and now visionOS. However, as is customary, we get a sneak peek at what Apple is preparing for customers. Enjoy a sneak peek at what’s in store from Cupertino by watching the special event online.
“We’re so pleased to meet with developers from across the world for an exceptional week of technology and community at WWDC24,” stated Susan Prescott, Apple’s VP of Worldwide Developer Relations, in a news statement. “World Wide Developer Conference is all about fostering an environment where new ideas can flourish and where our incredible developers can find cutting-edge resources to elevate their work to the next level.”
The aim is to provide students and developers with access to Apple specialists and the in-person presentation on the 10th; however, more specifics are on the way, according to Apple. Participants in the Swift Student Challenge, an Apple-sponsored program in which students compete to create unique apps using the Swift programming language, will soon learn if they have won the opportunity to apply for a spot to witness the keynote or even the entire three-day experience.
